Where can I get an affordable massage?

A massage therapy session for many people is considered a 'once a year' luxury. There's another group of people who enjoy more regular massages, let's say four to six times a year. A significant number of people have found that more regular massage or bodywork, at least once a month, is essential for their well-being and health.

Premier Spa Training Academy is dedicated to bringing affordable massage therapy to the public. So, whether you want a little pampering, a break from your typical day, stress reduction, or pain relief, PSTA Student Massage Therapists are ready to help.

Our Student Massage Clinic offers affordable massage and bodywork given by student massage therapists under the supervision of an instructor. These sessions are either 50-minutes or 80-minutes of hands-on work. The prices range from $40-$60 depending on the

length of the session.

What happens when you arrive at Premier Spa Training Academy for your session?

First, you will be greeted by either an instructor or a student. Payment for the session will be taken by the instructor and you will be asked to fill out an Intake form and Waiver. This form is very important and includes your contact information, health history, and the body concerns you want addressed (muscular pain).

Second, your student massage therapist will take you to the massage table area for a short consultation. It's important to have clear communication with the student so expectations are met for your session.

After that, the student will give you privacy so you may undress to your level of comfort and get settled on the massage table. While you are getting ready the student will consult with the instructor to make sure the session plan is appropriate. The student will also wash their hands before returning to you.

Next is the best part, you get to relax and let the student massage therapist do all the work! Once the session is completed you will be asked to dress and meet the student for after-care recommendations.

Lastly, PSTA believes client feedback is essential for our students to learn and grow from each massage session. We ask you to complete a short feedback form and return it to the instructor. This information is reviewed with the student massage therapists.

From start to finish, your time at PSTA will be about half an hour more than your scheduled session hands-on time.

A couple items to remember for your visit. While we ask you to undress to your level of comfort, we also require all clients to leave underwear on at all times. Other clothing is optional for the massage session. Also, gratuity of any kind is not allowed for student massage therapists. Only Licensed Massage Therapists may receive compensation for work performed.
